Return Policy
Please contact us at 800-790-6136 or through eBays contact vendor options to process an RMA.

You may return merchandise purchased from Ecomelectronics for a refund or a replacement, provided that the procedures and requirements referred to in our return policy below are followed. All product returns require a return authorization number (RMA). A RMA number must be issued within 14 calendar days after the date of receipt; it will be valid for 14 calendar days after it is issued.

Returns should be double boxed, to avoid defacing the original box/packing of the product. The RMA# should be clearly visible on the shipping label. A copy of your invoice and Order # should be included, and your Return should be insured, with shipping costs pre-paid.

Products that are returned with a missing, damaged or altered serial number and/or UPC codes will be refused RMA service and returned to you.

Refunds / Exchanges
A processing fee of 15 percent will apply to the value of all merchandise returned for a refund.

If you purchased a product from Ecomelectronics that you wish to exchange for an alternative, for speedier receipt of your exchange you can place a new order for the desired item and when we receive the original back we will issue your refund. If time is not an issue you can send back the original and upon receipt we will ship your exchanged item. Processing fees may be waived on exchanges, ask our service department about this when processing your exchange.

Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 5-10 days after receipt of the returned merchandise.

Defective Item
An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced with no processing fee. You may also return a defective item for a refund.

Return Shipping
Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to our warehouse) is like or comparable to your cost of driving to any store in order to return an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse any return shipping cost. If an item you received is defective, we will certainly replace the item with a new one, however we do not cover or reimburse the shipping cost for returning defective merchandise back to our store. We will ship the replacement product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to ensure that the replacement order is processed quickly.

If an item is refused, the carrier bills us for shipping both ways, and these expenses incurred on your behalf need to be deducted from your refund.

Damaged Items
All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 3 calendar days after the date of receipt. A damage claim will be filed on your behalf and we will replace the item immediately once the claim is approved.

Return Exception
Although we have a very flexible return policy on most of the items we sell, there are some exceptions. There are product categories which are not returnable, due to hygienic, sanitary, or other reasons, as required by the respective Manufacturers. Non-Returnable Categories: If opened the following categories are non returnable. Consumable, Perishable, and/or Sensitized items, such as: Paper, Ink, Lamps, Bulbs, Batteries, and Software; Video Games; Personal Care; Printers.

Purchases from these categories are final. In case any of these items is defective, Customer must return them to the respective authorized service centers, for repair or replacement at the option of the Manufacturer. These items cannot be returned to the Merchant.

Televisions/ Major Appliances / Oversized items
These Items are only returnable if they have concealed damage that was not visible at time of delivery and will be exchanged for same exact model. Upon delivery you will be have the option to open/unpack the item for inspection before signing the manifest. In the event you are not available to inspect the item at time of delivery you have 24 hours to make any claims of concealed damage. You can contact us via phone or via email if it is after hours to file your claim.

If the merchandise is visibly damaged upon delivery, please refuse the delivery and note the manifest as such.
Contact our service department and an immediate replacement order will be prepared for you.
If you are refusing the delivery of the item and it is not damaged, you are responsible for the shipping, handling, and insurance charges for the delivery both ways.

Returns:

Return Time:You can return most items purchased from Home Buy's Plus as long as it is within the first 30 days from the shipping date. All returned or exchanged items must be in their original box and include packing material, manuals, and all accessories. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. This does not apply to items that arrived damaged.

RMA Number:Before returning your item you must get an RMA Number (Return Merchandise Authorization Number) from a Home Buy's Plus representative. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA Number. This is a very easy process. Just Contact Us. You will be given RMA # and further instructions within 1 business day.

Restocking:A restocking fee of 10%-20% of the total sale price of the item will be deducted from the refund for all items that are refund only. This fee applies to open and unopened boxes. If you are returning an item with the intention of purchasing a different item from us the restocking fee may be lowered or waived in most cases.

Shipping Fees:Shipping fees are not refundable. If an item was shipped under "Free Shipping" the shipping fee we incurred to get the product to you will be deducted out of the return price. Our original shipping fee can be made available to you upon request. Buyer pays for return shipping. Free Shipping only applies to the original shipment. Refusing A Package:If you place an order with Home Buys Plus and then refuse a package for any reason other than damage to the actual item (not the carton), you will receive a refund for the amount of your original transaction less any shipping charges we incurred in getting the package to you originally, as well as the cost of the return shipping. A 10%-20% Restocking Fee may also apply.

Defective Item:Merchandise that is discovered to be defective upon receipt will be replaced with the same exact item only. We will pay the shipping for the replacement. However, return shipping fees of the defective item are paid by the buyer. Return shipping fees are comparable to your cost of driving to any store for returning an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse any return shipping cost even for defective merchandise. Defective large items like TV's will require at least one service call before determining if a replacement will be made. This decision can only be made by the service technician and the manufacturer.
